Semaglutide Associated With Lower Incidence of OSA in Post Hoc Analysis

A post hoc analysis of the SELECT trial suggests that semaglutide 2.4 mg is associated with a significantly lower incidence of obstructive sleep apnea in adults with overweight or obesity and established cardiovascular disease. While these findings are promising, Novo Nordisk notes that semaglutide is not currently approved to treat obstructive sleep apnea and further research is required.
