Earlier this year, 3B Medical released the Lumin, an at-home CPAP interface and CPAP water chamber cleaner that uses ultraviolet light to kill bacteria, viruses, mold, and fungus. Now 3B has unveiled the Lumin Bullet, which is designed to sanitize a CPAP hose in seconds. According to 3B, Lumin Bullet disinfects and kills biofilm formation on a CPAP hose without use of ozone.

Is the Lumin Bullet available for purchase?
I am in the market of buying a cpap cleaner and am doing some reviews. on top of the lumin cpap cleaner, how much would this cost as well? also what are the dimentions of it?
According to the article on the Medtrade webiste that I referenced in another post, 3B Medical is targeting a price below $100.00 US for the Bullet. It’s certainly hard to estimate the dimensions of the box without context, but if you base the length of the enclosure on the diameter of the opening for the tube, I would estimate a total length around 6-8 inches (15-20 cm), and certainly no longer than 1 foot (30cm).
Just bought the lumin disappointed it doesn’t clean my hoses on cpap ..
Actually, Lumin does disinfect the CPAP hose.
I just received my Lumin from HSN.com. Some of the comments say this machine does not sanitize the hoses. I have to make a separate purchase? Please clarify. Thank.
Would like to discuss the cleaning equipment.
Want to know more about 3B Lumin Bullet CPAP Hose Sanitizer. How does it work? Is it sold in cpap stores and I live in Ottawa, On. Canada.
I bought my Lumin CPAP sanitizer at a Shopper’s Drug Mart Healthcare location in Ontario. I would assume that when the Bullet goes on sale, Shopper’s may carry it as well.
When will this be available for purchase
waiting for availability.
When will it be available? I’m waiting for it.
Why isn’t anyone replying to any of the questions? I would love to know more about the Bullet also. Is it not available yet? Please let us know. And, I do apologize if you are replying with email instead of on here, but replying here would be an advantage for the rest of us. Thank you.
You place the light inside the shell casing and it’s held in place by magnets. Then you place the hose inside the shell casing and manually pull the hose through. It only takes 30- 60 seconds to sanitize. So easy it’s almost unbelievable.

When will the lumin bullet be available for purchase?
I’ve been trying to find out more about the Bullet. Based on this article https://www.medtrade.com/news/respiratory-sleep/closer-look-at-award-winning-lumin-bullet-from-3b-medical/ it appears the Bullet uses a powerful magnet to “levitate” (much like the bullet trains that hover over their rails using magnets), and then uses a high-intensity LED to perform sterilization. I cannot tell whether the bullet’s casing automatically draws the hose through it, or whether it is designed so users manually pull the hose through the housing.
The 3B Lumin Bullet CPAP Hose Sanitizer is available for purchase at: 3blumin.com. I purchased one today.
