In an effort to further spread information about sleep disorders, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) will begin offering podcasts for issues of the Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine (JCSM) starting April 15, 2007.

The inaugural podcast will include the following highlights:

•    A debate about the necessity of therapy for patients with mild sleep apnea.

•    A summary of studies on “The Association of Alcohol Consumption and Sleep-disordered Breathing in Men & Women” and “Characteristics of Insomnia With Self-Reported Morning and Evening Chronotypes”.

•    An interview with Michael Bonnet, PhD, on “EEG Arousals Norm by Age”.
