A professor from Loughborough University says 6 hours of sleep a night is all that’s needed, reports Express.

Professor Jim Horne from Loughborough University says most of us can actually make do with just SIX HOURS a night – and it shouldn’t do you much harm either.

So if you don’t manage to get bed on time at night, needless to say it shouldn’t affect your performance at work too much.

Professor Horne says that it is possible to cut your sleep requirements by following these simple tips.

Firstly, start a routine. Wake up at the same time, every day, every week.

Then start going to bed twenty minutes later for a week at a time.
