The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services issued the final version of the 2011 Physician Fee Schedule Final Rule on November 29.
“The RVU values for sleep medicine codes are unchanged from the display copy of the Final Rule,” according to the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
A fact sheet prepared by the AASM explains the sleep codes in the Final Rule. AASM members can access the document, which includes current payment information for sleep codes and new input on the codes effective January 1, 2010.
