Inspire Medical Systems Inc‘s president and CEO Tim Herbert will present an overview of the company’s business at the 33rd Annual J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference. The presentation is scheduled for 8 AM PT on January 12, 2015, at the Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco.

Inspire Medical Systems developed and markets the first implantable device for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in April 2014, Inspire Upper Airway Stimulation (UAS) therapy is an effective new treatment option for those with moderate to severe OSA who are unable or unwilling to use CPAP. Inspire therapy delivers mild stimulation to key airway muscles, which keeps the airway open during sleep.

Medical centers in the United States and Europe now offer Inspire therapy as part of their sleep apnea treatment programs. In the United States, commercial insurance payors have provided reimbursement for sleep apnea patients who meet the FDA indications for use for Inspire therapy. During the presentation, the company will review its accomplishments in 2014 and lay out the business plans for 2015.
