Idorsia Ltd announced financial results for the full year 2025, reporting that sales of its insomnia prescription drug QUVIVIQ (daridorexant) more than doubled compared to the previous year. The company also significantly reduced its net loss and provided guidance pointing to continued growth in 2026.

Net revenue for 2025 totaled CHF 221 million, an increase from CHF 113 million in 2024. This revenue consisted of CHF 134 million in product sales, CHF 7 million in product sales to partners, and CHF 79 million in contract revenues.

“2025 marked a year of disciplined execution and renewed momentum for Idorsia,” says Srishti Gupta, MD, CEO of Idorsia, in a release. “We delivered on our upgraded guidance, more than doubled QUVIVIQ sales, and significantly strengthened our financial position—demonstrating that focused investment and commercial excellence can go hand in hand.”

2026 Outlook and Pipeline

Looking ahead, Idorsia’s 2026 guidance anticipates an approximate 50% increase in Idorsia-led QUVIVIQ sales.

According to a release, growth will be driven by expanded global reach through partnerships targeting general practitioners, strategic commercial alliances, additional public reimbursement wins, potential US descheduling, adoption of innovative digital and distribution models, and the initiation of a US label-enhancing study focused on daytime functioning.

Gupta highlighted upcoming pipeline developments, noting the company is “progressing our pipeline, including the upcoming readout of the pediatric insomnia study and the registrational program for lucerastat in Fabry disease,” says Gupta in a release. “With multiple catalysts ahead, we enter 2026 with clarity, confidence, and a clear path toward sustainable growth.”

The phase 2 pediatric insomnia study results for daridorexant are expected in Q2 2026.
