An undiagnosed sleep-related breathing disorder (SRBD) may be one of many factors that contribute to aggressive behavior and bullying in some schoolchildren, a study to be presented today at SLEEP 2007 in Minneapolis suggests.

Researchers of University of Michigan used records, questionnaires, and rating scales to study second through fifth grade children in an urban public school district. Results indicate that aggressive schoolchildren may be more likely to have an SRBD than others.
