Neurovirtual, a manufacturer of neurology and sleep medicine products, participated in the Great Grove Bed race in Coconut Grove. The company helped sponsor the event on Sunday, September 6, to bring sleep health awareness to the public.

Dozens of oddly dressed people, some wearing pajamas, showed up and raced beds down the streets of Coconut Grove, Fla. The event was part of a fun community tradition. Neurovirtual partnered with University of Miami Sleep Health program and took advantage of an opportunity to talk to people about sleep problems and disorders. The company provided a sleepiness scale to prequalify sleep disorders and also offered tips to improve sleep hygiene. Dozens of people stopped by to ask questions and talk about sleep problems affecting themselves and
their loved ones.

The event generated about $10,000. The money will benefit the University of Miami Sleep Health Program and Alonzo Mourning Charities.
