The Whittier Daily News reports that Sit ‘n Sleep is donating 252 mattresses to several fire stations in Southern California to encourage rest and sleep.
Battling wildfires, responding to medical emergencies and being roused from bed at all hours of the night is no easy job.
But that’s exactly what Pasadena firefighters do all year long. And to show his appreciation, Sit ’n Sleep CEO Larry Miller stopped by Fire Station 33 on Friday to thank them for their service by donating 53 Tempur-Pedic mattresses to the department.
They are among the 252 mattresses the Gardena-based company is donating to four fire stations around Southern California.
Sit ’n Sleep partnered with the Tempur-Pedic mattress company to honor California’s firefighters during National Fire Prevention Week, which began Sunday and runs through today.
