Sleep Innovations, West Long Branch, NJ, has hired Robert West as chief operating officer to implement Lean Manufacturing practices across the company.
“Our initial focus on eliminating waste and driving continuous improvement initiatives has significantly enhanced our operating performance,” said Michael C. Thompson, president and CEO. “With the addition of Robert, we will be able to expand the implementation of our lean business system across all functional areas and accelerate the benefits derived from customer-focused process improvement.”
Most recently, West served as chief operating officer at the Hamilton Company. He has an industrial engineering degree from Purdue University and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
