On track to get FDA approval by March 2015, the Nastent is a tube-shaped nasal cavity insertion device. Nastent aids breathing by preventing the obstruction of the airway, which causes poor sleep, frequent awakening during sleep, and snoring, according to creators Japan-based Seven Dreamers Laboratories Inc. Nastent is made from soft material and is designed to be used by patients with minimal discomfort. The company exhibited the Nastent at several US tradeshows in 2014.
