The American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) has announced 34 new AASM Fellows (FAASM) in the class of 2021. Fellow status recognizes outstanding competency in sleep medicine, significant achievements in the field, and dedicated membership in the AASM. Fellows must demonstrate special contributions to scientific literature or notable advancements in the field of sleep medicine in two of three areas: scholarship, service, or education. Fellows are approved by the Fellow Review Panel and AASM Executive Committee.
