Sleep HealthCenters®, a recognized network of specialized sleep clinics, and
Marlborough Hopspital, a member of UMass Memorial Health Care, have
partnered to advance sleep medicine in Marlborough, Mass.
The affiliation agreement created a comprehensive sleep medicine program
including a new sleep health center and a new sleep medicine clinic.
A new sleep diagnostic lab, located at the Embassy Suites on Boston Post
Road, opened on January 17, 2008. Each sleep diagnostic bedroom has a
private bathroom and all the amenities of a usual hotel stay, including a
complimentary hot breakfast buffet.
The partnership also included Sleep HealthCenters® opening a sleep medicine
clinic on the Marlborough Hospital main campus, offering services for
patients with all types of sleep disorders. The clinic opened on February 8;
services include medical consultations, treatment options, education, and
follow-up care.
