The American Sleep Association (ASA) has launched a new effort to expand into the sleep and sleep disorder marketplace. ASA says its mission is to improve public awareness about sleep disorders and sleep health, promote sleep medicine research, and provide a portal for communication between patients, physicians/healthcare professionals, corporations, and scientists. Now, through affiliate relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and retailers, ASA will offer access to sleep and sleep disorder merchandise to its members and viewers.

Initially, ASA will focus on sleep issues: sleep apnea and snoring.

Products that will be available through the American Sleep Association include CPAP, BiPAP/Bilevel, CPAP supplies, CPAP filters, tubing, hosing, CPAP masks, humidifiers, and related equipment. ASA will also offer antisnoring mouthpieces (snore mouth guards).
