Nihon Kohden is rebranding Nihon Kohden USLab, its Irvine, Calif-based R&D and product development subsidiary, to Nihon Kohden Digital Health Solutions Inc, effective April 1, 2021. The name change reflects the company’s evolution toward creating a digital health ecosystem to complement its capital equipment offerings with the vision of helping customers achieve better patient outcomes and improve the economy of medical care.
“For the last 20 years since its establishment, Nihon Kohden Digital Health Solutions Inc. has been developing networking and communication technologies that are critical to our capital equipment solutions for patient monitoring,” says Eiichi (Eddie) Tanaka, corporate director, operating officer, general manager and head of U.S. operations of Nihon Kohden, in a release. “This name change from USLab further reflects our commitment to complement our core offerings with advances in digital technology and data architecture to create unprecedented value and realize the optimal care cycle for each patient.”
