Hans Rudolph Inc, Kansas City, Mo, is nearing completion on a new headquarters facility in Kansas to better manage predicted growth in the sleep field. Company officials say the new site will be ready by the middle of next month.

While the venerable Rudolph family business has been designing and manufacturing in the same location for the past 47 years, they decided the time was right for a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and world headquarters to meet space and growth demands for multiple areas of the sleep field. “We’ve been here in America since the 1930s, and we’ve always been the manufacturer of these products and done it right here,” says Kelly Rudolph, marketing manager (pictured). “We have to keep control. It’s all our own design; so to have it done somewhere else [such as overseas] is just not feasible. There is just too much hands-on with our company. We want to keep control over what we are doing.”

The new 3-acre site in Shawnee, Kan, will feature 33,000 square feet of space to house all manufacturing, research and development, design, marketing, sales, administration, and shipping. After the October opening, inquiries should be directed to 8325 Cole Parkway, Shawnee, Kan.
