A Doane Line news report indicates that Doane College students in Nebraska will host a sleep week to highlight the importance of sleep.

Sleep is on everyone’s mind.

As Doane nears the final stretch of spring semester, the 24-hour computer lab is hosting more and more people, nappers can be found on any open couch and the answer to ‘how are you’ comes with a yawning ‘I’m tired.’

 So it comes with little surprise that the results of the 2015 national college health assessment show about 40 percent of Doane students feel they are sleep deprived.

“Kids aren’t getting enough sleep,” said Kelly Jirovec, health and wellness director.
