Although no one tracks numbers specific to each state, those who treat sleep apnea said awareness is on the rise in Delaware, reports Delawareonline.com.

“In the past few months, we’ve seen an increase in our study volume,” said Nancy Keiluhn, a clinical education specialist with the Delaware Sleep Society, an organization dedicated to promoting good sleeping habits.

In March 2015, about 100 patients visited the organization’s sleep disorder center in Nanticoke, according to Keiluhn. That number swelled to 254 during the same month in 2016. Statistics from 2017 were not immediately available.
