Lake News Online reports that Lake Regional Health System in Missouri has announced the opening of its expanded sleep clinic.
Formerly known as Lake Regional Sleep Medicine, the clinic is now Lake Regional Sleep Center and located in Suite G on the hospital’s third floor.
The expanded Sleep Center houses new offices for Lake Regional’s Philip Mataverde, DO, MPH, a board-certified neurologist and sleep specialist. Dr. Mataverde previously cared for patients at Lake Regional Neurology but now devotes his time exclusively to Sleep Center patients.
“We are pleased to offer a neurologist with a full-time focus on sleep medicine,” said Brian Carr, Lake Regional’s chief technologist of neurodiagnostics and the sleep clinic practice manager. “Sleep is essential for health and well-being, and many of our patients have reported life-changing results after receiving sleep care.”
