The SnoreCoach, from Cleveland-area start-up Huneo, clips onto the back of the shirt collar and vibrates when snoring is detected, prompting the sleeper to roll to a different position and stop snoring, reports The Cleveland Plain-Dealer.

The device is “an electronic elbow,” Ryder joked. “Our principal market is the victim of the snorer.”

In a more serious vein, SnoreCoach also can be used to detect serious sleep disturbances and promote more restful sleep.
