The DME MAC CERT Outreach and Education Task Force will conduct a national webinar December 17, 2014, from 1:30 to 3:30 PM Eastern. This webinar will focus on errors found during CERT reviews of Positive Airway Pressure Devices (PAP) claims. The webinar format will include a presentation outlining the types of errors found by the CERT contractors followed by the corresponding Medicare PAP requirements. The Task Force panel will leave plenty of time to answer questions from the webinar attendees.
The DME MAC CERT Outreach and Education Task Force consists of representatives from each of the DME MACs and is independent from the CMS CERT Team and CERT contractors, who are responsible for the calculation of the Medicare Fee-for-Service improper payment rate. The goal of the DME MAC CERT Outreach and Education Task Force is to help reduce the overall CERT error rate by providing focused education to the supplier community.
