Regulatory changes in France have provided a tailwind for European sales, reports Intelligent Investor.
In November 2016, the French Government introduced new regulations that meant Continuous Open Airway Therapy (COAT) devices and fitting services are now fully reimbursed by the Government. Importantly, patients diagnosed with mild and moderate sleep apnea are now directed to ‘oral appliances’ – such as SomnoMed’s SomnoDent mouthguard – as a first-line treatment.
