He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Missouri Dental Association, and the Greater St. Louis Dental Society. He has educated dentists both locally and nationally on the benefits of dental sleep medicine and has served on numerous AADSM committees and task forces.

“During my presidency, I will work with our board of directors, committees, and staff to develop and implement strategies and policies that will ensure that patients are aware of the benefits of oral appliance therapy for sleep apnea and that qualified dentists are best positioned to help meet the public burden of sleep apnea,” says Postol in a release. “The AADSM will work tirelessly on behalf of its members to develop resources that help our members to promote oral appliance therapy, build and strengthen referring relationships, and evolve their practices.”
