DeVilbiss Healthcare was named one of five finalists for the Pennsylvania Governor’s Impact Awards in the Export Impact category for the Southern Alleghenies Region. The awards program was created to honor and celebrate companies across the state that have had substantial impact on growing the economy and contributing to job growth and retention.

DeVilbiss Healthcare, headquartered in Somerset, designs, manufactures, and markets respiratory medical products that are manufactured primarily in the United States. With subsidiaries located in Canada, Germany, France, Australia, the United Kingdom, and the People’s Republic of China, DeVilbiss products are distributed in more than 100 countries around the world.

“DeVilbiss’ global success can be attributed to the close collaboration between our corporate and international teams,” said Tim Walsh, CFO for DeVilbiss Healthcare. “It’s because of their dedication to meeting the needs of our patients and providers that we are able to continually improve our stance as a global company.”

An awards ceremony was recently held at the Hershey Lodge in Hershey, Pa. During the ceremony, approximately 250 companies across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania were recognized as finalists in one of several categories: Community Impact, Entrepreneur Impact, Export Impact, Jobs First, and Small Business Impact.

“The list of finalists for the Governor’s Impact Awards is impressive, and we are proud to be among them for the Export Impact category,” said Walsh.
