One in three women will die from cardiovascular disease. Stacey Askelson, an employee at Rhythmlink, a manufacturer and distributor of neurodiagnostic accessories, is all too familiar with this statistic, and is honoring the women of her family who fought this disease through the Go Red for Women campaign in conjunction with the American Heart Association.

Participating in the Go Red for Women 8 Week Challenge, Stacey’s sharing her story and spreading awareness about heart disease in women. Over the 8-week challenge, Stacey and seven others receive free monthly appointments with a cardiologist, weekly visits with a licensed dietician and a free gym membership and personal trainer. This group of “Go Red Sisters” have been featured on television and radio telling their personal stories in relation to heart disease.
