Supermoon Capital launches “Snoozapalooza,” a semi-annual, virtual pitch competition with prizes of $150,000 SAFE (simple agreement for future equity) notes. Supermoon Capital, formerly SleepScore Ventures, launched its first venture fund last year and is a partner for entrepreneurs in the sleep market.

Supermoon Capital seeks founders building technologies to 1) treat, improve or enhance sleep, 2) monitor, diagnose, or manage patient health, and 3) streamline, optimize, or enable other businesses in the market.

Ten applicants will be selected as finalists and will have the chance to pitch live in front of a panel of three judges—Tim Kern; Cheri D. Mah, MD, MS; and Michael Masterson—and an audience of sleep scientists, investors, and operators in the sleep market.

Three teams will win. Winning pitches receive a $150K uncapped SAFE note, access to the Supermoon Launchpad, and mentorship from the Supermoon orbit.

According to Supermoon Capital, no idea is too early for Snoozapalooza, and entrepreneurs do not need to be incorporated to apply. The competition welcomes applications from all over the world.

Applications are due October 31, 2022.
