Breathe, the independent diagnostic testing facility based in Kansas City, Mo, released its patent-pending BreatheLinkTM, a remote overnight oximetry downloading system. The company will highlight the system at this year’s Medtrade in Orlando Fla, Oct. 7-9.
BreatheLink allows oximetry data to be transmitted directly to the DME provider when the test is complete. The system eliminates the need for delivery trips to see if the patient qualifies or if the patient needs to repeat the test due to too much artifact time.
“Communicating with our clients is our top priority, it helps us understand what their day to day process is which allows us to create technology enabling them to become more efficient,” said Amber Yeager, Owner of Breathe. “DME providers are looking for ways to cut operational expenses and BreatheLink plays a significant role in reducing unnecessary delivery trips to patient homes.”
