Dreamtrap will launch its sleep monitoring and waking system, the EASYWAKEme Sleep Stage Alarm Clock, in July 2011. The sleep monitor is capable of detecting the optimal moments to wake up by monitoring the user’s sleep. Based on this information, the product is designed to awaken users “stress-free and feeling alert.”
The EASYWAKEme tracks body motion and detects sleep phases. “The Dreamtrap’s proprietary 3D Adaptive Sleep Capture (3D ASC) technology ‘reads’ body characteristics, and tracks sleep duration and efficiency to accurately determinate the optimal wake-up moment and reduce your daily wake-up stress,” according to the company. The product’s initial rollout will be in the UK.
