Lead specialists in pediatric pulmonology from both developed and developing countries will come together for this year’s congress. Nearly 2,000 doctors treating children with chest diseases will come together for a number of themes; asthma and respiratory allergies, respiratory infections and tuberculosis, cystic fibrosis, and snoring.

The goal of the Congress on Pediatric Pulmonology is to improve the treatment of young patients around the world. The international meeting will include numerous sessions and topic symposiums, a keynote lecture given by Dr Heather Zar from South Africa, interactive sessions in conventional format and in quiz form, and “Meet the Expert” sessions with oral presentations of clinical cases. A workshop on the discovery of the therapeutic virtues of magic on children will also be held, highlighting this new way of communication with sick children.

In addition, a presentation of the “Lung and Childhood Young Investigator Prize” will be presented to six young investigators in pediatric pulmonology. Their work was selected by a special, international jury and the recipients will have an opportunity to present their research in a plenary session.
