BioHealth Laboratory has released a panel that is an at-home test for dim light melatonin onset (DLMO). According to the company, the test provides 8 melatonin readings at specified times and calculates each patient’s own unique DLMO threshold to determine if the patient has advanced, regular, or delayed onset.

Detailed instructions are provided to promote patient compliance and include links to apps (Apple and Android) to ensure the patient isn’t exposed to too much light while collecting.

The panel costs $189 and is insurance billable.
