A recent Frost & Sullivan report finds that US positive airway pressure (PAP) therapy devices market earned revenues of $775 million in 2005 and estimates this to reach $2.3 billion in 2012.

CPAP market revenues estimate to reach $1 billion by 2007. This market’s revenue will be evenly divided between the facial interfaces and flow generators, by 2012. The AutoPAP is not likely to gain any significant market share due to lack of reimbursement code.

"The US CPAP therapy devices market is expected to remain healthy and grow aggressively as the awareness of sleep depravation and disorders is growing," says Frost & Sullivan Research Analyst Mike Arani.
