A study out of Sweden suggests that sleeping in on the weekends can help compensate for lost sleep during the week, reports the Detroit Free Press.

We’ve already learned that alcohol and coffee could help us live past 90.

Now, it appears, extra sleep on days off could help us live a long life, too.

A study published this week in the Journal of Sleep Research focused on the impact of “weekend sleeping” — or, simply, sleeping on days off — and concluded that a little extra snoozing on days off can possibly make up for lost sleep on the weekdays.
