The Middletown Press profiles Dr Mark D’Agostino and TransOral Robotic Surgery for obstructive sleep apnea.

Dr. Mark D’Agostino, an otolaryngologist who has worked for years on treatments for sleep apnea, has been experimenting with different procedures to help with the disorder. “About four or five years ago, myself and a couple of other doctors across the world developed a robotic procedure where we went in with a robot and shaved some off the base of the tongue,” he said. It’s called TransOral Robotic Surgery.
