The monikers Sleep Nation and CPAP Care Club are being superseded by the corporate name Verus Healthcare. While traditionally focusing on CPAP supplies for patients with sleep apnea, Verus will be expanding into new products, including catheters and nebulizers products, based on feedback from its customers.
Verus is from the Latin word for “truth,” “integrity,” and “trust” and is a corporate name that CEO Richardson M. Roberts has used in the past in another industry. “There is a legacy of providing excellent service in this name and it means a lot to me because we provided that experience for customers in a past company. Now, we plan to take it to another level because we are dealing with patients’ health. Nothing is more important to us than the quality of care that we provide to our patients,” Roberts says in a release.
