“Sky Illusion” is the name for the upgraded sleep comfort experience on Turkish Airlines. The sleeping set for business class passengers will first take flight on May 12.

Delta and Etihad Airlines also recently upgraded amenities in an effort to improve passenger sleep.

At Turkish Airlines, each detail was meticulously thought out and inspired by Turkish hospitality, incorporating fabrics reminiscent of clouds, a release says.

The collection is presented in packages arranged as a “Bohça bundle,” a hospitality indicator in Turkish society for centuries. The “bohça” consists of a sleeping pad, designed in sizes fully adaptable to the seat; a quilt covering the body with soft satin fabric; a sleeping pillow that makes the head and neck comfortable with its size; a “waist pillow” that backs the waist completely while sitting; and 100% cotton slippers.

The contents of the set, which are produced by combining aloe vera extracts and soft fabrics, not only offer a comfortable sleeping environment but also are designed to be ergonomic. The sheets have been produced with holders in order not to slip from the leather seats, and the quilts have been designed in a manner to maintain body temperature.
