3B Products LLC received FDA approval for its 3B Flex-Lite CPAP Nasal Mask, a nasal pillow mask patterned on a cannula design.
According to the company, the cannula design is often helpful for patients unable to tolerate a standard 22 mm CPAP hose connection near the front of their face.
Intended for single-patient reuse in the home environment and/or multipatient reuse in the hospital/institutional environment, the 3B Flex-Lite Nasal Mask comes with three sizes of nasal pillows (small, medium, and large).
According to the company, the mask will be available January 2012.
