More than 50 videos were submitted from students across the United States in the American Academy of Sleep Medicine’s (AASM’s) “Sleep Works for You” High School Video Contest. Jenny Lam, a 10th grader at Piedmont Hills High School in San Jose, Calif, took top honors: $1,000 prize split evenly between her and her school.
The AASM selected the first-place and second-place winners. Five other contenders competed for the “People’s Choice” award, which was determined by online voting. Each prize is split evenly between the winning student and his or her school.
