The American Sleep Apnea Association, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting awareness and effective solutions for sleep apnea, is hosting The Economic and Clinical Impact of Sleep Apnea, a solutions conference for employers and health plans.

Taking place on October 25, 2012 at the Sheraton City Centre in Baltimore, Md, this conference is the third in a series of events focused on sleep apnea in the workplace. The conference is designed to provide decision makers with access to data-driven solutions for addressing sleep apnea among their employees and enrollees.

“This conference is the first to provide the detailed evidence employers and health plans need to understand the health and financial implications of sleep apnea in the workplace,” said Edward Grandi, executive director, American Sleep Apnea Association. “The solutions and best practices presented deliver the data analytics required for effective decision making.”

The multi-track event, pre-event networking, and extensive exhibit hall offer a number of opportunities to interact with solution experts, including title sponsors ResMed and FusionHealth. Presentations address:
• The impact of sleep apnea on health
• Financial impact and risk implications of sleep apnea in the workplace
• Evidence-based best practices in prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and compliance
• Business case for investing in a sleep apnea program
