The American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) has introduced The Sleep ISR Scoring Course, an online modular course designed to help participants gain competency in scoring and interpretation of in-lab polysomnograms (PSG).

According to an announcement from the AASM, the content for the program follows the scoring and interpretation guidance outlined in the AASM Manual for the Scoring of Sleep and Associated Events.

The program includes a pretest to determine the current level of knowledge. Once the level of knowledge is determined, participants will then undergo lessons composed of videos and interactive activities to boost their skills on areas including, waveform recognition, staging, and event scoring.

The scoring course is included with the premium Sleep ISR subscription and is available as an add-on to the other Sleep ISR plans. To obtain access to the scoring course, or to learn more about Sleep ISR, visit Sleep ISR’s website.
