Nihon Kohden has been named a great workplace for the fifth year in a row by the Great Place to Work Institute. The recertification reflects ongoing improvements in employee satisfaction across the organization even as the company helps hospitals meet the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“One of our central goals is to improve the work and lives of our employees, so it is very rewarding to know that our employees believe Nihon Kohden is a great place to work,” says Eiichi Tanaka, president and CEO of Nihon Kohden America, in a release. “This mirrors the continued increase we’ve seen in employee approval and satisfaction on sites like Glassdoor, even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, because of the care and attention we offer every employee who works with us.”

Nihon Kohden’s recertification was based on anonymous feedback from current employees on the employee experience, atmosphere, rewards, pride, communication, and leadership. As in previous years, the company’s highest marks were for the sense of pride employees feel in their work, the amount of responsibility and autonomy afforded them to accomplish their jobs, and inclusion.

“For the fifth time, Nihon Kohden’s employees have independently validated the strength of their workplace culture through Great Place to Work Certification,” says Sarah Lewis-Kulin, vice president of Global Recognition at Great Place to Work, in a relase. “The trust we know is at the core of all great workplaces is critical to attracting top talent and maintain focus during a time when other companies might struggle to meet the challenges before them.”

Nihon Kohden is currently seeking new team members for positions in all areas, including network engineering, software engineering, installation, sales, and clinical.
