Nox Medical, a provider of sleep testing technologies, announced the launch of Nox Connect, a cloud-based platform designed to enhance the way sleep labs manage sleep testing and personnel operational workflows.

Nox Connect integrates Nox devices, data, and diagnostics into a single cloud platform, enabling centralized and secure data storage and management for all Nox devices, including the Nox A1s polysomnography and the Nox T3s home sleep apnea test. Customers can now seamlessly manage their patients, sleep testing, and workflows through a unified cloud platform.

“With Nox Connect, healthcare providers who work with sleep diagnostics can efficiently manage, collaborate on, and securely store data from both home and in-lab sleep tests,” says Ingvar Hjálmarsson, president of Nox Medical, in a release. “Nox Connect is engineered to significantly improve operational efficiency in sleep clinics, connect sleep testing capabilities across facilities, improve utilization of staff, and ultimately support better patient care and outcomes through access to our AI enhancements and insights.”

Additionally, the sleep software Noxturnal, specifically designed for scoring, reporting, and interpreting sleep study data, is now integrated with Nox Connect, providing customers with a centralized way to store, share, and access data.

The platform is built on Nox Cloud, which is HITRUST-certified, a security and privacy framework used by organizations across multiple industries to ensure regulatory compliance and risk management.

A Solution for Sleep Lab Challenges

“Nox Connect is designed to directly address the main challenges that sleep labs are facing today, including the critical shortage of sleep technologists, by increasing efficiency and optimizing operational management,” says Hjálmarsson in a release. “Our customers have been asking for this for a long time, and now we can finally offer it. Nox Connect is where innovation meets scalability to future-proof your business. Stay ahead of the curve with cloud-connected home and in-lab sleep technology, built on a platform designed to anticipate the next wave of Nox Medical advances in artificial intelligence, diagnostic technology, and data insights.”

Nox Connect will be demoed for the first time at the upcoming SLEEP 2024 meeting in Houston, from June 1-5. Following the event, Nox Connect will be available for sleep labs.
