A Mirror news report indicates that a number of Britons do not get enough sleep and the report examines the issues caused by the related fatigue.

Research commissioned by mattress maker Sleeping Duck found more than half of those polled wake up in a bad mood most mornings.

A spokesman said: “We all know that a bad night’s night can lead to a less than productive day, but the results show just how often tiredness takes toll on our everyday lives.”

Coventry is worst off when it comes to a good night’s sleep, getting just under six hours, followed by London with six hours and two minutes on average, according to the survey.
