Sleep Review is the leading independent magazine for professionals in sleep medicine. We share product, service, research, corporate, and other relevant news with sleep physicians, sleep techs, dentists, sleep lab managers, and others with an interest in the sleep medicine subspecialty.

The guidelines below will help you successfully create and submit a press release for consideration in our Sleep Report newsletter and on our website.

Anyone—including sleep technology innovators and sleep business owners—is welcome to submit press releases to [email protected].

We do NOT charge for press release publication. It is a free service we provide to keep our audience informed about the latest developments in sleep medicine.

What to Send in a Press Release

  • Make your release easy to publish by following these guidelines:
    • Keep it concise: 2-6 paragraphs is ideal.
  • Include bullet points of key product features.
  • Include at least one approved quote from either a company representative or a clinician.
  • Attach a high-resolution image:
    • For product news, our first choice is a product-only photo without people. (Our second choice is the product in use on a person.)
  • Email the release with the photo attached to [email protected].

Types of News We Cover

We prioritize sleep-focused releases that include context and relevance to clinicians in the United States. Topics of interest include:

  • FDA clearances or approvals (within the past 12 months)
  • Reimbursement-related milestones (such as PDAC verification)
  • A soft-launched device that is now broadly available
  • New product features and software updates
  • New patents, if you include market context
  • Product recalls
  • Acquisitions, funding rounds, or new partnerships
  • Research findings or conference abstracts with a quote from an investigator
  • Clinical trial milestones

We typically do NOT cover personnel news, consumer-only products or software, or non-clinical awards unless there is a compelling reason that sleep physicians would need this information.

How We Handle Your Press Release

  • We will edit your release, including removing phrasing that the editors deem too promotional.
  • We will NOT include links to a product page on your website. We do NOT do affiliate links.
  • Once published, content cannot be changed. Only contact us if a factual error appears (we do fix factual errors).
  • You’ll receive a link to your published story.
    • Share the link on social media and tag Sleep Review to extend reach. Sleep Review is active on LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube.
  •  If you want more control over how your press release appears—for instance, you want specific links included or you do not want it edited—sponsored content will be a better fit. Email Roy Felts ([email protected]) for details and pricing.
