Announcing its dental continuing education seminar schedule for 2016, Nierman Practice Management has a variety of programs for implementing obstructive sleep apnea, TMJ disorders, and craniofacial pain treatment in a dental practice.

Added on next-door to every clinical seminar is its dental-to-medical cross-coding course, taught by CEO/founder Rose Nierman.
Dentists, assistants, and hygienists can attend the clinical courses on sleep apnea, TMJ, or craniofacial pain, and send their front-office members across the hall to “CrossCoding: Unlocking the Code to Medical Billing in Dentistry” to receive training on efficiently obtaining medical reimbursement for the above services, as well as oral surgery, CT scans, and oral cancer screenings.

Nierman also announced the addition of shadowing and ongoing mentorship programs in order for practices to witness credentialed dentists treating live sleep apnea and TMJ patients, and Nierman’s medical billing service filing sleep apnea and TMJ claims. These programs allow dentists and their team to observe real cases and obtain guidance from the experts, bridging the gap between theory and practice.

For practices that want their entire dental team trained without the travel expense, Nierman has launched the option for a private end-to-end implementation seminar. Nierman’s clinical director of education, Mayoor Patel, DDS, MS, and a certified trainer will travel right to the dental practice for a tailored 2-day program.

The Nierman 2016 seminar faculty includes Mayoor Patel, DDS; Ken Berley, JD, DDS; Shouresh Charkhandeh, DDS; Todd Morgan, DMD; Anthony Sims, DMD; Rose Nierman; and Randy Curran, all known for their contributions in education, research, and their dedication to the advancement of the dental sleep and TMD industry.

“Our aim is to provide forward-thinking education. Each speaker on our faculty possesses a completely unique perspective that provides for a one-of-a-kind experience for our participants.” says Jon Nierman, director of continuing education at Nierman Practice Management, in a release. “An example is Ken Berley, DDS, JD, who is a practicing attorney and sleep apnea dentist, who gives an extremely important and entertaining session on protecting yourself in dental sleep medicine.”

Nierman Practice Management’s dental continuing education seminars are accredited through ADA CERP and AGD PACE. Dental practices can find more information on the courses online.
