AAST CCSH Designated Education Program
June 25 - June 26
The AAST CCSH Designated Education Program is designed for health professionals who work directly with sleep medicine patients, families, and other healthcare practitioners to coordinate and manage patient care and improve outcomes. The 1.5 day in-person workshops will foster an individualized, instructor-led learning experience that will allow for robust discussion with your instructors and peers. Each event will seat up to 50 participants and cover seven sessions including:
- Sleep across the Life Cycle and Circadian Rhythms
- Evaluations of Sleep Disorders
- Clinical Evaluation and Management for the CCSH
- Incidence and Prevalence of Sleep Disorders
- Clinical Evaluations Part 1 & 2
- Patient Follow Up and Management
Upon completion of the workshop, participants will receive access to the online Case Study Scenarios and the online Post-Test. After achieving a passing score on the Post-Test, RPSGT credential holders who have recertified at least once will be eligible to apply for the CCSH credential under this pathway. Each workshop is approved for 7.5 AAST and AARC CECs.
